Job Description
The Information & Decision Support Coordinator works closely with the Director of Information & Decision Support to effectively support organizational strategies related to core software infrastructure projects, including the association management system (AMS) and related projects, as well as other major systems and collaboration tools. The Coordinator is primarily responsible for documenting business processes, writing functional specifications and requirements, maintaining meeting minutes and team collaboration site, and providing department support, with a focus on supporting the implementation of consistent systems development planning and business management practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented and able to set priorities, work independently and take initiative, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. The ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced, small team environment with a high degree of collaboration is essential and required. Strong organizational and computer skills (MS Office) are required; experience in dealing with technology vendors and writing, reviewing, and testing functional system requirements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and at least 2-3 years related experience and/or training. Demonstrated accomplishments working with databases and Web technologies as well as project management experience required. Experience working in a non-profit organization or professional association setting preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math skills required.
REASONING ABILITY: Must show good judgment and logic.
