Job Description

The Data Coordinator will work closely with the MBN (Metro Boston Network) Network Coordinator, the Chair of the Data and Evaluation Committee and with responsible staff from the various projects funded by the MBN to ensure and support timely, complete, and accurate HMIS data entry by staff providing MBN-funded services, and to ensure the collection and reporting of other mandated information, including monthly reporting of number of families diverted from shelter and number of families re-housed out of shelter, quarterly reporting of aggregate data about client intake, activity and outcomes, quarterly reporting of case studies, and appropriate tracking of financial assistance to clients, including use of leveraged resources.

Skills & Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have knowledge, experience, and comfort using a data base, preferably HMIS (Homeless Management Information Systems; Experience with data collection and program evaluation; Comfortable and accomplished in the use of various text spreadsheet, and database software. Experience and proficiency in the use of statistics and website software preferred; the ability to support and train staff relative to using a data base.
